Automatically Exempt Persons

Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents and their immediate families are just some of the people who do not require a travel exemption to enter Australia.

For the full, up-to-date list of exempt persons please check the

Department of Home Affairs website.

There are additional proof requirements for temporary visa holders and those who don't yet hold a valid visa. You must submit evidence to the Department before beginning your travel to Australia.
